If you are under the age of 18 and provide care to someone who has either a disability, a health condition (which may be a physical or a mental illness) or suffers from substance misuse, there is a range of support services available to you.
Young Carers provide unpaid assistance and support to another person, usually a family member, who requires physical and/or emotional support on a regular or significant basis.
In 2010 the BBC estimated that there are 700,000 young carers in the UK and it is thought that many Young Carers do not access services and organisations that can provide support to help them cope with their caring role.
Whether you provide help with completing household tasks, providing personal and physical care or offering emotional support to a family member, we can help with personalised advice, training and information.
